Souper Bowl

March 2, 2016

February 19, 2016

Tad’s Locker Room,

We want to thank you for your in-kind donation of the $30 gift certificate, in support of our 21st annual Inter-Faith Ministries Souper Bowl luncheon. This event was held the Friday before the Big Super Bowl and was a great success. Inter-Faith Ministries (IFM) raised over $8,000 can you say “Thank You Wichita!” What a generous community we live in! These funds will support over 600 bednights for homeless men, women, and children.

Through more than 130 years of service, IFM continues to address issues of poverty. Through many community partnerships and collaboration, IFM serves over 150,000 individuals in Wichita, Kansas. The IFM “campus” has eight buildings, stretches several city blocks, and serves as a neighborhood community for families. Inter-Faith Ministries serves the homeless population with three shelters: (1) the Inter-Faith Inn for emergency care offering 50 beds per night for men, women, and children, (2) Ti’Wiconi Safe Haven for those chronically homeless adults with a diagnosed mental illness offering 20 beds per night and (3) the Warming Souls Winter Shelter for winter protection November through March offering 125 beds per night for men and women.

I hope you will consider helping Souper Bowl XXII next year and even possibly attend the 22nd annual event on Friday February 3, 2017. It would be great to see you there!

Blessings,

Kathleen Webb
